Wow. Such X. Very L. So 1. Amaze.

I'm sitting here going, huh?
It's like a Volt and a prelude and a veedub. And none of it works for me.

Sweet! Have you gotten a chance to have someone drive you around in one?
![]() 12/03/2013 at 11:47 |

I just can't help thinking about how much they look like these

did I miss the bad grammar theme today?

You lucky motherfucker.

Allegedly it's this: http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/doge

I kinda picked up on the gist of it, but why?
![]() 12/03/2013 at 11:53 |

I expect a drift video.
![]() 12/03/2013 at 11:56 |

I'd like to know the answer to that too, honestly.

I believe it's supposed to "represent" how a dog sees the world, complete with a lack of grasp of the English language.
![]() 12/03/2013 at 11:59 |

I'll be driving it tomorrow.

Sweetness!

Aerodynamics, bro. The point of the XL1 is maximum fuel efficiency.

Just like the Insight ...
![]() 12/03/2013 at 12:09 |

Yep. The shape of all these cars is dictated by aerodynamics, and since they all drive through the same air, they all kind of look like each other.

We want a Jalopnik review!
I seriously want one of those so badly.
![]() 12/03/2013 at 13:26 |

I want an instructional video on how an average person would change the rear tires.

Aren't these powered by Ducatis?
![]() 12/03/2013 at 16:17 |

except it German which means it's more better-er-er-ier
![]() 12/03/2013 at 16:26 |
|
It is also much more expensive-er-er-ier.
You could run a fleet of a dozen Insights for years providing gas and maintenance for the entry price of the XL1
![]() 12/03/2013 at 16:52 |

Because race car?
![]() 12/03/2013 at 16:53 |

251 MPG. Word. That work for you?
![]() 12/04/2013 at 17:10 |
|
Not really when I can get 199 MPG in my Volt, which is the most badass family hybrid ever. (And, no, the Fischers don't count, nor does Tesla. Too expensive.)
![]() 12/05/2013 at 08:30 |
|
Do you get 199 MPG in a volt? You'll have to forgive me, cause I forget does the volt have a gas engine, or is it just all electric?
![]() 12/05/2013 at 09:30 |
|
Hybrid. Ga-electric.

Not currently, but they are planning one to be powered by a 1199 Panigale engine. The current one is powered by an electric motor and 800cc 47 HP twin diesel engine (half of a 1.6 TDI)
( Ducati-powered )
